I'm very, very excited about this New Makeup line by Calvin Klein it's called CK One and it's exclusively at Ulta. I was there for the launch last week not on purpose but I'm totally glad I was there. The makeup is amazing in my opinion, from the classic Black & White packaging to the quality of the products which I think was very well thought out and a lot of care was put into the makeup, to the pricing. You have foundations, concealer, duo blushes and bronzers with cream and powder, double ended eyeliners, eyeshadow quads, awesome color mascaras with a twist, gloss eye color pencils, nail polish and more. They also had a fall collection so I'm hoping they will be having other limited collections to give us something to look forward to along with more permanent products. The packaging is classic looking but very light weight so great for your purse, it's plastic on top but has the Nars feel on the bottom of the package. There are great colors to choose from on all the products, the foundations have about 8-10 shades, hopefully there will be more to come. I haven't been this excited about a new makeup line for a while so I'm happy to share this with you guys, go check them out at your nearest Ulta or Ulta.com and below I put a link to my overview video. There is more to come from me regarding this brand, I will be doing reviews for some of the products so stay tuned for that. Hope this introduction was helpful and that you go and check it out. Any questions or comments put it in the comments link above.

I'm back again with another product that came in my Influenster Latina Beauty VoxBox for testing and possible review purposes. The Veet wax strips, I'm one who waxes her own brows and legs so this certainly caught my eye. I was excited to try something new for waxing that seem much faster and easier than putting on my wax warmer, getting all my tools ready such as wax strips and wood sticks to apply the wax.
It actually came just in time because I was looking to wax my legs and brows at that point so I waxed my legs and I thought it worked pretty good, although I do feel it has a bit too much wax on the strips and if not careful the wax will come out the sides and be a bit messing when your warming it up with our hands. I figured it it worked for my legs I would try it on my eyebrows, and so I cut a the big strip into a few small strips and did my brows, I must say not bad, I mean I still like my old wax routine but when your in a rush or if you are traveling and don't have time you can take these with you and wax while away so they are great for travel. I also found that it lasted pretty long before I had to wax again which is also a good thing. They are ready to use and are a box of 40 for $9.99 which I find to be very affordable. They can be found at your local drugstores such as Walgreens, Target, CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart.

So I've been gone a while, sorry for the absence but I do have lots of goodies to share with you guys so stay tuned. I'm starting with with a product I received in my Influenster Latina Beauty VoxBox and that is of course in the title above, the Liquid Lipshine by NYC. The color I received is Nude York City 582 which is quite appropriate for me since I'm from NY and it's the exact color that I would have chosen for myself, it's a beige nude color with gold shimmer, it's non-sticky and very smooth on the lips. It also has a sweet candy like scent. Looks great alone or on top of your favorite nude lipstick. Most importantly in this day and age is the price only $2.49 per lipshine. These can be found at your local drug store such as Walmart, Target, Rite Aid, CVS, Family Dollar, Duane Reade, Kmart, HEB, and others.
My only personal gripe with this product is the doe foot applicator, I just feel it's too long and therefore makes it a bit flimsy or to flexible in my opinion otherwise I would definitely recommend it whether your on a budget or not.
Below I will provide you with a link to their site so you can check out all the NYC products for yourself.
